Pretty Woman National Tour
Elana is excited to join the national tour of Pretty Woman the Musical as a swing/Dance Captain and bring the show to cities around North America!
A native Vermonter who grew up hiking the Green Mountains and incorporating maple syrup into an inordinate number of meals, Elana has enjoyed many contracts and artistic endeavors as an actor, dancer, singer, and yoga teacher based in New York City. Through the years, she trained at various programs such as the Circle in the Square Summer Musical Theater Intensive, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel, Broadway Artists Alliance, and abroad at the London Dramatic Academy before graduating from Cornell University with a degree in theater and a minor in science/technology studies.
Elana recently wrapped up traveling the country as Dance Captain/Swing on the Pretty Woman National Tour and will be heading across the world to join the international leg in Japan in the fall. No stranger to journeying, she was previously seen in feline form covering five tracks as a swing on the national tour of Cats, and prior trips around the globe include voyaging as a singer/dancer aboard an Oceania luxury cruise ship as well as shows at various regional theaters, favorites including the New London Barn Playhouse, Northern Stage, and the Saint Michael’s Playhouse. She also enjoyed ringmastering a New England circus, ringing in the holidays performing at King’s Island in Ohio, and developing a new play, Chasing Jack, in Florida (which unfortunately closed on opening night due to the pandemic) as well as numerous other workshops, concerts, galas, and short films over the years!
